This innovate conference will bring together Missoula Indian families and service providers to explore the effects of historical trauma and domestic violence and to experience a model of traditional intervention. Conference topics include:
Tribal historical trauma and cultural resilience
Personal experience with a Domestic Violence homicide which affects an entire community and leaves a bereaved family
A man's journey to wellness
Critical legal issues
Assessment from a multi-cultural perspective
